The Winter Fantasy is a one-of-a-kind holiday art festival that offers a festive, handcrafted shopping experience in an enchanting winter wonderland with thousands of lights and decorations, handcrafted gifts by 175 artists, three stages of live music, community performances, carolers, puppeteers, art classes, tasty food and more.

Get ready for the 10th annual Winter Fest OC as they bring the ultimate winter wonderland to Orange County! Over a million lights create this dazzling holiday scene, transforming the OC Fair & Event Center into an enchanted dream! Enjoy snowfall, thrilling rides, festive entertainment, and delightful treats and eats. From ice skating under the stars to exploring whimsical holiday displays, there’s something for everyone. And on December 31st, ring in the New Year not once, but twice, with a special countdown with an unforgettable balloon drop at both 6pm and midnight!

North Coast Calvary Chapel will host its annual “Carols by Candlelight” event to kick off the Christmas season on Friday, December 6. This free community event is in its ninth year.

“This is kind of like our Christmas gift to the community across North County,” said Ryan Pfeiffer, lead pastor at NCCC. “We know that everyone enjoys a quality Christmas event, and we’ve added some fun new aspects this year in response to the great turnout we saw last year.”

Activities will run indoors and outdoors and include a live band, tree lighting, Christmas village and model train display, bingo, crafts, karaoke, concessions and food trucks, a petting zoo, camel and pony rides, and more. All attractions, except food sales, are free. Items from local and global mission partners will also be on sale.

“It’s important for us to share the joy of the Christmas season with everyone,” Pfeiffer said, “not only those who belong to our church. Come on out and enjoy Christmas with us!”

The event runs from 4:30-8:30pm, with the Christmas tree lighting happening shortly after 5:00 and group Christmas caroling at 7:00.

The City of Placentia is pleased to announce the 30th annual Tamale Festival to be held in Old Town Placentia on Thursday, December 12th from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The event features live entertainment, food, shopping, a kids games area and a Tree Lighting. Additionally, a free event shuttle will be available throughout the evening to and from nearby off-site parking locations. Admission if free!

Experience the Christmas story coming to life in the most captivating living nativity in Orange County. This walk-through journey transports you to Bethlehem as it was 2000 years ago, featuring live camels and sheep, shepherds, Roman soldiers, baby Jesus, unique food, refreshments and more immersive activities for all ages.

All are invited to bundle up, grab the family and some hot cocoa, and drive-thru the Mount of Olives Church campus to experience a free retelling of the Christmas story. See live actors and animals plus hear music and narration from your car!

Looking for the perfect family-friendly Christmas event? You’re invited to the Orange County Christmas Experience on December 14th & 15th at 5 PM. This is a FREE event that includes a petting zoo where your little one can spend time with live animals, a Christmas Village with festive music, with the sights and sounds of Christmas, and a Christmas play called “Room for a King” which is a heartwarming Christmas play that is perfect for all ages and the centerpiece of the Orange County Christmas Experience. The play lasts about 45 minutes and is a fun reminder to slow down from the hustle and bustle, spend time with family, and remember the true reason for the season—Jesus Christ.
